Peter Moore was born in 1951. He studied Fine Art at Newcastle University in 1976 and subsequently ran an art shop in Oxford until 1978 when he left to teach English and Art in the Sudan. He has also lived with the Nuba people, sketching many of their designs in architecture, utensils and body-art.
Peter returned to the UK in 1980 and completed a Post Graduate Degree at Cardiff University; he then moved to North Wales where he lives today. Peter has worked as a tutor since 1981 and has exhibited throughout North Wales. He won the Snowdonia National Park painting competition and was a finalist in the Cardiff Welsh Artist of the Year in 2008.
